Description
Mg remove Flux-sumetech,Magnesium Remover Flux,
magnesium remover flux is developed for removing unwanted minor amount of magnesium from molten aluminium and aluminium alloys. Initial magnesium content should be below 1%. If the initial magnesium content is above 1% add sufficient magnesium- free metal to bring it down to this level.
Usage
2> Dosage =( Mg content in aluminum alloy %- needed Mg content %)* weight of molten aluminum *( 5±0 . 5kg)
3> Check the composition of molten aluminum and calculate the dosage as the formula ( NO . 2 )
4> Application temperature : 735 ℃ -- 745 ℃.
5>Spray special flux with high purity nitrogen into furnace twice and make sure full access .
Firstly , take half of special flux to refine 20 - 25minutes , then deslag .
Secondly , use the rest specila flux , refine 15 - 20minutes , then deslag .
At last ,close the furnace door and keep 10 minutes
6>Take molten aluminum samples from furnace to check the composition , removing Magnesium and refining process completed.
